About Us

Design Engineer Alex Simdikoff founded Simdikoff & Sons Pty. Ltd. in 1997. The original name of the company was chosen in honour of his farther, who dreamed about his own company called Simdikoff & Son Pty. Ltd. In 1998, Alex changed the company name to reflect the birth of his second son. Simdikoff & Sons is based in Melbourne, Australia.

Alex Simdikoff emigrated to Australia in 1995. A graduate of two Russian Universities, Alex was eager to give his family a healthy and fresh start in life. His choice of a new home was easy -- Australia the country of his dreams. Within two years of arriving, Alex had won a scholarship to study business at the Royal Melbourne University of Technology University (RMIT) School of Aerospace. After graduating with a Masters Degree in Engineering, Alex started work in 2000 for the Swedish Concern, Autoliv. He was part of the design team for Ford's seat-belt and airbag systems, in the process gaining a priceless education in the western philosophy of manufacturing.


Alex subsequently enrolled in the Business School at the Batman Institute where he graduated in 2002 year with a Business Diplom
a, further strengthening the practical knowledge acquired in his professional life. His next job was Primary Designer for Ford Performance Vehicles, originally working on interiors, then on exteriors.

Consulting was a natural evolution for Alex, given his expanding design and business knowledge. He collaborated with clients such as Solar Systems
, Thales (Australian Defense Industries), honing his business and design philosophy before embarking on development of his own company, which rapidly established itself as a reliable and trustworthy partner.

In 2010, Zuken Co. (Japan) chose Simdikoff & Sons to be their local representative in Australia and New Zealand. Zuken's global client base includes BMW, Rolls Royce and
Mercedes Benz.Also in 2010, the Russian sea-port city of Novorossiisk made Simdikoff & Sons a “commercial bridge” between western technologies and the vast Russian market. The company's expertise in developing efficiencies in engineering management and systems design will serve Russia-based clients in areas ranging from road-building to renewable energy, including solar and wind power.

In 2011 Success Distribution LLC (US) h
as signed with Simdikoff & Sons an agreement for the exclusive representation in Australia and New Zealand.

A
mong local customers of Simdikoff & Sons are ABB, Astralian Helicopters, Continental, CSIRO, Rio Tinto, Toyota, Schneider Electric, Volgren Buses and Wilson Transformer. Kinetic Engineering Design Ltd (NZ).

Simdikoff & Sons partners include Global Procurement Services (GPS), SYSOP, DWD Success Distribution Co. and ZUKEN. The company looks forward to a fascinating and challenging future in the field of global engineering design.


Same year, Mayor of Russian sea-port Novorossijsk and Alex Simdikov, have signed document which makes Simdikoff & Sons a “commercial bridge” between western technologies and vast Russian market. Areas of renewable source of energy like solar power, wind power, latest road building technologies, “know-how” such as simultaneous engineering, waste (time, labor, material) management in engineering and manufacturing.

In partnership Global Procurement Services (GPS), SYSOP, Argo Computing Simdikoff & Sons are facing fascinating future with challenges and victories.
